Who We Are

LUV DJS is a wedding and event DJ service based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information you provide to us through this website (luvdjs.com.au) and our booking process.

Information We Collect

Everything we hold about you is something you typed into one of the two forms on this site. We do not buy lists, and nothing is collected in the background while you read.

The enquiry form asks for:

• Your name and email address, and your phone number if you give one
• Your event date, event type, and venue or location
• Which package interests you, and whatever you choose to write in the message box

The planning form, which we send to couples after booking, also asks for:

• Both of your names, and the timings for your day
• Your venue’s name and address, and the name and phone number of your contact there — those are someone else’s details, so please only pass on what that person would be comfortable with
• Song choices for the ceremony and the key moments, and your must-play and never-play lists
• Anything else you decide to tell us, which for some couples includes notes about family, traditions or surprises

We do not take payments through this website. Invoices are issued to you separately, so card numbers are never entered here and we never store them.

Cookies & Tracking

This website sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no third-party script following you from page to page. That is not a promise about the future written loosely — it is what the site does today, and we would rather say so plainly than leave a vaguer sentence here.

Because there is no analytics, we could not tell you how many people have read this page, beyond what our web host records in its ordinary server logs. The fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so opening a page here does not announce your visit to anyone else either.

If we ever add analytics, we will change this section before we add it, not after.

The Anti-Spam Check

Both forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which is the small verification box you see before the send button. When you submit a form it passes Cloudflare a one-time token and your IP address so it can confirm a person filled the form in rather than a script.

It is a spam check and not an advertising tool: it does not build a profile of you, it is not used to follow you across other websites, and it does not set a cookie on this site. Without it, both forms would be filling our inbox with automated junk within days.

Who Else Handles Your Information

We are a small business rather than a company with departments, so this list is short and complete:

• Resend — turns your form into an email and delivers it to our inbox, holding a copy briefly as part of sending it
• Cloudflare — runs the anti-spam check described above, and serves the videos on our gallery and story pages
• Vercel — hosts this website. As with any web host, its server logs record IP addresses and which pages were requested

These are service providers doing a specific job for us, and some of them process data outside Australia. We never sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone for marketing purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use what you give us solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry and confirm availability
• Plan and deliver our DJ and MC services for your event
• Send booking confirmations, invoices and event reminders
• Improve our service and follow up after your event

Marketing

We do not run a mailing list and we do not send marketing email. This site used to offer a newsletter signup; it was removed in August 2026, because there was no list behind it. If you asked to be added to it at some point, email us and we will delete the address.

How We Store Your Information

Your enquiry or planning form arrives as an email and lives in our business inbox — there is no separate customer database holding a second copy. Accounts are password-protected. We retain enquiry records for up to 12 months and booking records for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes, in line with Australian law.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request corrections to any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal obligations)
• Ask us how your information has been used, and expect a real answer
