Booking & Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once a deposit (typically 25% of the total fee) has been received and a signed booking form returned to LUV DJS. Until then, your date is held tentatively for up to 7 days.

Payment

The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your event date. We accept bank transfer and credit card. Late payment may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund of deposit.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 90 days before event — full refund of deposit
  • 60–90 days before event — 50% of deposit refunded
  • Less than 60 days before event — deposit non-refundable
  • Less than 14 days — full booking amount payable

If we are unable to perform due to circumstances on our side (illness, equipment failure), we will provide a backup DJ from our trusted network at no additional cost. If no replacement can be found, a full refund will be issued.

Postponement

If you need to postpone your event, we will do our best to transfer your booking to a new date subject to our availability. One free transfer is permitted; subsequent transfers may incur an admin fee.

Equipment & Setup

LUV DJS provides all sound, lighting and DJ equipment as agreed in the booking package. We require:

  • Reasonable access to the venue at least 2 hours before the event start
  • A safe, dry, indoor performance area with adequate power supply
  • A solid table or DJ booth (often supplied by the venue)

Liability & Insurance

LUV DJS holds $20 million in public liability insurance. Documentation can be provided to your venue on request. We are not liable for damage caused by guests or for circumstances outside our control (power failure, venue issues, force majeure).

Music Requests & DJ Discretion

While we do our best to honour all reasonable music requests, the DJ retains discretion to refuse requests that are inappropriate, offensive or likely to clear the dance floor. Must-play and never-play lists agreed during planning are always honoured.

Photography & Use of Footage

We may photograph or film our setup at events for portfolio use. We will not photograph or share images of guests without your prior consent. You can opt out at any time during planning.
